Honey Harvest Festival
Every Saturday in September. Sept. 4, 11, 18, 25th
Celebrate the Honey Harvest with us! Events continue throughout the day include beehive opening demonstrations, honey harvesting and dipping your own beeswax candles. Live music from 1:00-4:00 PM. Don’t forget the wagon rides and bee barrel train rides running throughout the day! Bee beard demonstration at 2:30 PM.

Annual Bee Beard Competition

Who wants to see thousands of bees put on someone’s face? Everyone! Come and join in the buzzin’ fun at Clovermead’s Bee Beard Competition. Bee keeper Olympics starts at 1:30 pm. The fierce competition starts as beekeepers demonstrate their skills at squeezing honey comb, lighting smokers, suiting up and catching bees. At 2:30, the competition kicks off, when the beekeepers are weighed and sent into the tents to get loaded up with bees. If you think razor burn is uncomfortable, you should see these itchy bee beards. After 20 more minutes, the judge and audience determine the best beard and the coveted trophy is awarded. Live Music from 1:00-4:00 pm
