Adventure Farm School Host

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized School Host to welcome and assist school groups visiting our farm. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys engaging with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities:

  •  Welcoming & Organizing Groups: Greet arriving school buses, coordinate teachers, chaperones, and students, and guide them to their designated shelters.
  • Public Speaking & Customer Service: Confidently address large groups, provide clear instructions, and ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable visit.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize bathrooms, change rooms, and picnic tables. Handle garbage, recycling, lost & found, and general litter pickup.
  • Guest Safety & Activities: Provide basic first aid when needed and oversee attractions such as the jumping pillow and pedal karts.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to walk quickly, run when necessary, and work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.


 Requirements:

  • Strong public speaking and customer service skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Physically capable of working outdoors all day in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable with cleaning tasks and maintaining a tidy farm environment
  •  First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset


 Schedule & Hours:

  •  Must be available to work weekdays in May & June
  • 3 to 5 days per week, approximately 15 - 25 hours per week
  • Seasonal position during May and June, or from May to end of August, or May to end of October

Food Service Worker Bee

We are looking for energetic and customer-focused Food Service Worker Bees to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as part of a team, and loves providing great customer service. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Food Preparation & Cooking: Work in one of our three food service locations, preparing menu items such as burgers, wraps, poutine, chicken fingers, donuts, kettle corn, gyros, and more. 
  • Dessert & Beverage Service: Serve treats like ice cream, funnel cakes, churros, slushies, coffee, and tea. 
  • Customer Service: Greet guests with a smile, take orders efficiently, and ensure a friendly and welcoming experience. 
  • Teamwork & Efficiency: Work closely with your team to keep up with high demand while maintaining speed and quality. 
  • Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following health and safety guidelines. 

Requirements: 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment 
  • Friendly, positive attitude and great with guests 
  • Works well as part of a team 
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to multitask 
  • Previous food service experience is an asset but not required

Ride Operator Worker Bee

We are seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and entertaining Ride Operator to provide guests with a fun and memorable experience on our farm rides!


Responsibilities: 

  • Operate Farm Rides Safely: Drive and oversee the Tractor Wagon Ride, Barrel of Fun Ride, and Bee Train Ride, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for guests.
  • Engage & Entertain Guests: Be friendly, energetic, and comfortable speaking in front of a crowd. Keep guests entertained with fun stories and engaging interactions.
  • Assist with Boarding & Unboarding: Help guests safely get on and off rides while ensuring all safety guidelines are followed. 
  • Welcome & Organize School Groups: Assist in greeting and organizing school field trips as they arrive. 
  • Provide Basic First Aid: Respond to minor incidents as needed. 
  • Outdoor Work Environment: Be prepared to work outside all day in various weather conditions. 

Requirements: 
  • Strong attention to safety and detail 
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups 
  • Friendly, outgoing, and entertaining personality 
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions 
  • Reliable and responsible with a great attitude

Schedule & Hours: 
  • Must be able to work weekdays in May and June. 
  • Part-time, 5 days per week 
  • Approximately 25 hours per week

Honey Shop Worker Bee

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Honey Shop Worker Bee to provide guests with a warm and welcoming shopping experience. If you love customer service, retail, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you! 

Responsibilities: 

  • Customer Service & Sales: Greet guests, answer questions, and help customers find the perfect honey and gifts. 
  • Product Knowledge: Learn about our honey varieties and other farm products to share with guests. 
  • Cash Handling & Checkout: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments efficiently. 
  • Stocking & Merchandising: Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing. 
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a tidy and inviting retail space, ensuring cleanliness throughout the shop. 

Requirements: 
  • Excellent customer service skills – friendly, welcoming, and helpful 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 
  • Works well in a fast-paced retail environment 
  • Reliable and responsible with strong communication skills 
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required

Responsibilities: 

  • Guest Assistance & Attraction Supervision: Help visitors navigate the farm and oversee attractions like the jumping pillow and pedal karts. 
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize bathrooms, change rooms, picnic tables, and shelters. Handle garbage, recycling, and general litter pickup throughout the day. 
  • Lost & Found Management: Collect misplaced items for guest retrieval. 
  • Outdoor Work & Fast-Paced Environment: Be prepared to work outside all day in various weather conditions while maintaining efficiency and a positive attitude. 
  • First Aid & Safety: Provide basic first aid when needed and ensure guests are following farm safety rules. 
  • Requirements: Energetic and physically capable of walking and working all day outdoors 
  • Great with guests – friendly, helpful, and approachable 
  • Works well on a team and can handle a fast-paced environment 
  • Reliable and responsible with strong attention to detail 
  • First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset

Admission Booth Worker Bee

We are looking for a friendly and organized Admission Booth Worker Bee to be the first point of contact for our guests! If you love customer service, working in a fast-paced environment, and handling transactions efficiently, this role is perfect for you. 


 Responsibilities: 

  • Greeting & Assisting Guests: Welcome visitors with a warm smile and provide information about the farm. 
  • Ticket Sales & Transactions: Process admissions, season passes, and other purchases using the point-of-sale system. 
  • Guest Inquiries: Answer questions about farm attractions, policies, and events. 
  • Line Management: Keep lines moving efficiently while ensuring a great guest experience. 
  • Clean & Organized Workstation: Maintain a tidy and professional booth space. 


Requirements: 

  • Excellent customer service skills – friendly, welcoming, and helpful 
  • Comfortable handling money and operating a POS system 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 
  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 
  • Reliable and responsible with strong communication skills
