Adventure Farm School Host

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized School Host to welcome and assist school groups visiting our farm. This role is perfect for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys engaging with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

 Responsibilities:

  •  Welcoming & Organizing Groups: Greet arriving school buses, coordinate teachers, chaperones, and students, and guide them to their designated shelters.
  • Public Speaking & Customer Service: Confidently address large groups, provide clear instructions, and ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable visit.
  • Cleaning & Maintenance: Regularly clean and sanitize bathrooms, change rooms, and picnic tables. Handle garbage, recycling, lost & found, and general litter pickup.
  • Guest Safety & Activities: Provide basic first aid when needed and oversee attractions such as the jumping pillow and pedal karts.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to walk quickly, run when necessary, and work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.


 Requirements:

  • Strong public speaking and customer service skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Physically capable of working outdoors all day in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable with cleaning tasks and maintaining a tidy farm environment
  •  First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset


 Schedule & Hours:

  •  Must be available to work weekdays in May & June
  • 2 to 3 days per week, approximately 10 - 15 hours per week
  • Seasonal Position: May & June

Bee Education Tour Guide

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to lead engaging, hands-on tours about honey bees and beekeepig! If you enjoy public speaking, working outdoors, and inspiring curiosity, this role is perfect for you. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Educational Tours:  Guide school groups and visitors through interactive bee education experience. 
  • Share Bee Knowledge: Teach guests about the importance of pollinators, hive life, and honey production. 
  • Engage with Guests: Make learnign fun and excitign for all ages, answering questions and encouraging participation.  
  • Tour Organization: Keep groups moving smoothly while ensuring an engaging and informative participation. 
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Enviornment: Ensure the tour area's are tidy and safe for guests
  • Great with guests – friendly, helpful, and approachable 
  • Works well on a team and can handle a fast-paced environment 
  • Reliable and responsible with strong attention to detail 
 

Schedule & Hours: 

  • Must be available to work week days in May & June.
  • Part-time, roughly 2 to 3 shifts per week, 10 - 15 hours.
  • Seasonal Position: May & June.

Honey Shop Worker Bee

We are looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Honey Shop Worker Bee to provide guests with a warm and welcoming shopping experience.  If you love customer service, retail, and working in a fun, fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you! 


 Responsibilities: 

Customer Service & Sales: Greet guests, answer questions, and help customers find the perfect honey and gifts.

Product Knowledge: Learn about our honey varieties and other farm products to share with guests.

Cash Handling & Checkout: Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle payments efficienty.

Stocking & Merchandising: Keep shelves stocked, organized, and visually appealing.

Cleanliness & Organizition: Maintain a tidy and inviting retail space, ensuring cleanliness throughout the shop.


Requirements: 

Excellent customer service skills- friendly, welcoming, and helpful

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Works well in a fast-paced retail environment

Reliable and responsible with strong communication skills

Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required


Hours:

Year-round position

Part-time, roughly 2 - 3 shifts per week.
