Farm Policies

Rain Policy
Clovermead reserves the right to close attractions or play areas without notice for the weather.

The farm will still be open so come if you would like to be adventurous in the rain.
Cancellation Policy
The admission tickets you purchased here at the Clovermead gate are non-refundable. The Adventure Farm is open rain or shine!

Tickets purchased online can be used on the next sunny day.

We highly recommend you look at the weather forecast for the Aylmer area before spending the day outside on the Adventure Farm.
Smoking Policy
Clovermead Adventure Farm is a smoke and vaping free farm.

For safety and health purposes, along with being courteous to all guests, there is no smoking or vaping, including e-cigarettes allowed anywhere on the Adventure Farm.

General FAQs

ARE YOU ACCESSIBLE?
We have many disabled guests who enjoy the Adventure Farm each season. We are a real working farm spread over 54 acres with no paved surfaces other than parking by our honey shop.

We have accessible bathrooms across the Adventure Farm, along with an adult change table in the middle of the Adventure Farm.

If guests can be lifted into the rides, they can absolutely ride the rides!

We have wheelchair ramps for Tractor Wagon Ride.
IS CLOVERMEAD WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The Honey Shop & Adventure farm is wheelchair accessible with gravel paths and automatic sliding doors. We have some accessible washrooms and an adult change table.
DO YOU HAVE A LOST AND FOUND?
Yes. If you are still on the property, please call the Honey Shop at 519-773-5503, or find anyone wearing a yellow ‘worker bee’ shirt.

If you have already left, feel free to send an email to info@clovermead.com or call us at 519-773-5503. We have a great return rate on cell phones, wallets and lost children.
DANGER IN GETTING STUNG?
Clovermead keeps most of their bee hives on other farm land so there are not 24 million bees flying around on our farm. The honey bees here are pretty friendly & you generally do not notice them. Just like in a park! Honey bees are vegetarians, they eat pollen & collect nectar, fortunately, they do not eat people.

Bees will sting if they feel threatened, they normally will leave you alone if you leave them BEE.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING OUR OWN FOOD?
At Clovermead, we welcome you to bring your own food and enjoy it at one of our many picnic spots both inside and outside the farm. While we encourage you to make the most of our lovely picnic areas, please note that open flames and BBQs are not permitted for safety reasons. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE AREAS BY THE ROOSTER, THE KETTLE OR THE BEESTRO.

Food options on the farm are found at the Beestro Cafe,  The Rooster Cookhouse and Kettle Kaboose. Check out the menus here.

Day camps & schools are allowed to bring in their lunches.
ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING OUR PETS ON THE FARM?
To ensure the health and safety of our visitors and farm animals, we do not permit pets of any kind on the property. We kindly ask that you keep your pets at home. If you have a registered service animal we can allow it on the farm. (This rule also applies to the Honey Shop).

WHAT ARE THE WINTER HOURS?
The Honey Shop will close at 1:00 pm on December 24 and re-open on January 8.

The Honey Shop is now open six days all year round! We are open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and closed on Sundays.

WHEN WILL THE BEES BE ON DISPLAY?
The glass bee hive is filled with bees when it is warm during the day & night. The bees do not thrive in glass hives when it is cold. Usually, the hives are ready on display from June until the end of September.
