Every September 19 through October 31, the corn maze, pumpkin patch, and Pumpkin Cannon Show all run together as one seasonal event.
Ontario's Fall Tradition, Cut Fresh Every Year
Most corn mazes reuse the same layout year after year. Ours doesn't — every fall, Clovermead cuts a brand-new pattern into the fields, so returning visitors are getting lost somewhere new, not retracing last year's path. Before you head in, stop and read the 10 Corn-mandments posted at the entrance: part safety briefing, part running joke, and they've saved more than a few families from going in circles. Most groups find their way through in 20 to 40 minutes, and it's built for every age — wide enough for strollers, twisty enough that teenagers still get turned around.
Once you're through, the pumpkin patch is right there waiting — walk the rows and pick the one you want to take home, then work off some energy at Dunkin' Pumpkins and Pumpk'n Bowl'n before the family photo at one of the fall displays. It all runs alongside the Pumpkin Cannon Show and Candy Cannon Blast-Off, which is exactly what it sounds like: pumpkins (and candy) launching, on schedule, all season long.
